Terms & Conditions

Health and Performance Solutions AG, better known as “VAULT” strives to offer the best personal & group training and nutritional & lifestyle services.  If you decide to take advantage of any of our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

Your health condition and our liability

During your training sessions at VAULT, we make efforts to ensure your safety.  However, with any exercise programme there are risks, including increased heart stress and the chance of injuries.  Your trainer will hold a personal conversation with you before the first training session to understand the state of your health and review any previous health conditions which may affect your training.  You must answer all your trainer’s questions truthfully so your trainer can assess your health status. Please inform your trainer of all current and previous health conditions or complaints.  If your health condition changes during the training programme, you must also report this to your trainer.  In joining a training programme with VAULT, you acknowledge the risks of training and acknowledge that, to your knowledge, you have no limiting physical conditions or disability that would preclude you from undertaking the training programme.  Liability for damages of any kind that you suffer while using the services of VAULT is excluded to the fullest extent possible by law.

Rules for your booked sessions

  1. You will endeavour to be on time for all sessions and if running late will inform your service provider as soon as possible about the delay.
  2. If you arrive late, you will receive the remaining scheduled session time, unless other arrangements have been agreed with the service provider.
  3. You and your service provider shall both endeavour to reach your SMART goals (Specific, Measurable, Assignable, Realistic & Time-related).  You understand that to reach these you must follow the advice of your service provider and commit yourself to your training.
  4. You will wear appropriate clothing and footwear for your training session.

Rules for cancellations or changes

  1. If you wish to cancel or change a planned service, you must either: (i) cancel/change the booking in the VAULT booking platform; or (ii) inform your service provider, as soon as possible and at the latest 24 hours before the scheduled start of the appointment. Communication of cancellations/changes after business hours will be responded to during the following day’s office hours.
  2. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged in full, as if the session went ahead as planned. However, you do have the option to find a substitute person to attend the session at the booked appointment.
  3. In the event that VAULT or the service provider has to cancel or change a session, we will re-schedule the session at a time convenient for you at no cost to you.

Rules for subscriptions

  1. VAULT training subscriptions are offered at a fixed price for a minimum fixed period of 3, 6 or 12 months.
  2. After the minimum period, the subscription will continue on a per month basis, unless you terminate the subscription in writing to info@vaulttraining.ch upon at least one month’s notice before the renewal date.
  3. A “month” does not necessarily mean a calendar month.  For example, if your subscription begins on 15 June, a “month” means in that case the period from 15 June until 14 July.
  4. Each subscription period will include a fixed number of training sessions per month, the dates and times of which you should agree in advance with your trainer. You can also book the sessions directly through the VAULT booking platform.  You should endeavour to spread the training sessions evenly over the month (e.g. one, two, three per week, depending on the number of sessions purchased).
  5. All sessions should be consumed within the agreed month period.
  6. You may freeze a subscription for a minimum period of two weeks up to a maximum period of four weeks in total per year (a year starts on the date of your first subscription month) for any reason.
  7. For reasons of your pregnancy, serious illness or serious injury, provided that you provide written proof of this from your healthcare professional, you may freeze your subscription for the period of incapacity, up to a maximum period of 6 months.
  8. For reasons of serious illness or serious injury, which do not allow you to continue your training programme, you may cancel your subscription for the remaining unused period beginning with the following full month, provided that all fees for previous months up to termination must be paid.  VAULT will provide you with a refund, minus a CHF 100 administration fee, for the remaining unused months, provided that you provide written proof of prevention from continuing the training programme from your healthcare professional.
  9. Refunds will not be issued for any other reasons, including relocation, illness, injury and unused sessions.
  10. VAULT Unlimited Subscription: Requires a minimum 1-month commitment. Allows up to 1 booking per day.

Payment terms

  1. We prefer that payments are made by credit or debit card through the VAULT booking site or in person at our facility.  If this is not possible for you, we accept cash payments.
  2. If a minimum term subscription is agreed to be paid upfront in full, the payment must be made in full prior to your first training session.
  3. If a subscription is agreed to be paid in monthly instalments, the payment for each month must be made in full before the beginning of the relevant month.

General terms

  1. These terms and conditions form a binding contract between Health and Performance Solutions AG (not with the individual service provider) and you as a client.
  2. These terms and conditions and the contract which results from them are governed by Swiss law under the jurisdiction of the courts of Zurich.
